The GCU Young Stars Academy is designed for male soccer players, ages 4-7 with it's main priority to teach players the basic techniques of soccer in a fun filled environment. It is much easier on younger players if they are taught the proper techniques the first time around, opposed to retraining their brain to break old habits. The Young Stars Academy should coincide with a player’s participation in a recreational league.
In our Academy we guarantee that your child will enjoy our program because we teach through with fun in mind. At this age, learning the proper technique through a fun environment will result in a technically talented young soccer player with a passion and love for the game that will help prepare them to play competitively.
A cutting edge, innovative, fun and technical approach is used to teach our youth players in a manner unparalleled in the soccer community. The methods we use at the Young Stars Academy taps into the creativity and imagination of a youth player.

Refund Policy:
Due to contracts with service providers, facilities, travel arrangements that need to be made in advance with coaching staff, and other operational expenses incurred prior to camps; partial refunds can only be given, if requested in writing and received by the camp office no later than 30 days prior to the camp start date. A written refund request must be sent via email to the camp administrator’s email address gcumenssoccercamps@gmail.com, outlining the camper’s name, camp session, and request for refund, with a stated reason for cancellation. Each camp has a non-refundable fee that cannot be refunded for any reason. The non-refundable fee for each camp is outlined below:
2025 Non-Refundable Fees:
No partial refunds will be given, if requested less than 30 days prior to the camp's start date, unless it is in the case of a sudden medical illness or injury, during this time, that would prohibit the child from participating at camp. During this 30-day period prior to camp, a partial refund (less the non-refundable fee) can only be given, if a written refund request accompanied by a doctor’s release, stating that due to the child’s medical illness or injury, they would not be able to participate at camp. Both the written cancellation request and doctor’s release must be received by the camp office no later than 2-days prior to the camp start date. No refund requests, for any reason, can be considered if received after the 2-day deadline prior to the camp’s start date. In the case that the child needs to leave camp early due to a medical illness or injury, a partial pro-rated refund will be given, if a written refund request accompanied by a doctor’s release is received by the camp office, within 5 days of the child’s departure from camp. The partial refund will be calculated based upon how much time was missed at camp, less the non-refundable fee. All cancellation/refund requests will be reviewed, and if approved, processed within 30 days from the date the camp office receives the written cancellation/refund request and doctor’s release if applicable. Partial refunds will be given in the same form that the initial payment was made. Camp gear orders are non-refundable and do not have a warranty or guarantee.
Camp Cancellation Insurance (CCI) Option:
We offer for all our camps and clinics a Camp Cancellation (CCI) Insurance option that can be purchased at the time of online registration. The CCI rates are much lower than our non-refundable fees; if a camper needs to cancel for any reason prior to camp, they will be refunded the full amount paid less the CCI fee paid.
